Jonava District Municipality Administration Director Valdas Majauskas is responsible for implementing laws, government decisions, and Municipal Council decisions within the municipality's jurisdiction. He also controls and coordinates the work of various departments within the municipal administration, including Centralized Internal Audit Service, Law and Personnel, General, Finance and Budget, Property, Repair and Construction, Centralized Accounting, Public Procurement, Strategic Planning and Investments, Architecture and Urban Planning, Public Order, and Centralized Budget Institutions accounting departments. He issues orders that are binding on the municipal administration's structural divisions, branches, aldermen, and civil servants not included in the structural divisions. Additionally, he deals with matters within his competence concerning the municipality's residents and other entities located within the municipality's territory. Valdas Majauskas organizes the work of the municipal administration, administers allocations allocated by the Council to the municipal administration, manages municipal budget allocations and other monetary resources, organizes the execution of the municipal budget, and is responsible for the economic and financial activities of the municipality, as per the procedure established by the Council.
